Preference given to Atlanta area applicants only. This is an hourly paid temporary position. Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.


The purpose of an Internship with iMedX, Inc. is to provide meaningful work assignments to college students in certain programs of study under the guidance of a select mentor. The Intern will have exposure to a variety of assignments to be completed by the end of the program. In return, the Intern will gain valuable work experience and contribute to projects and other duties that are in alignment with the Company’s business objectives.

This position will allow you to receive a comprehensive view of analytical functions within the medical document management and health information solutions field, along with the value it brings to the Company’s investors, clients and other stakeholders. Your mentor will provide coaching and guidance throughout the internship. Other mentors may be assigned to you depending on other projects to which you are assigned.

Organization Structure

This position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Informatics.

The Intern will focus on various projects within the Analytics Department with an opportunity to assist with other projects within different departments, including the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct data analysis to support healthcare analytics platform in addition to other projects.
  2. Assist with marketing campaigns including reporting and analytics to understand impactInterpret results and uncover trends and other areas of opportunity using predictive modeling; presents findings to key stakeholders.
  3. Make recommendations using quantitative and qualitative data.
  4. Monitor existing metrics and establish benchmarking
  5. Serve as lead for Company’s annual charity event.
  6. Maintain database to track and report on key client metrics Help maintain database to track and report on key client metrics
  7. Use data to run a variety of analytics models that can help drive decision-making for both tactical and strategic purposes
  8. Champions the Company’s values.
  9. Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.



Previous internship experience (preferred)

Specialist Skills Required: 

Physical Work Environment: This position is located in a climate-controlled office environment and requires sitting for long periods of time with some bending and twisting as necessary.  Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
